Are DOU TKR blades recommended by saw manufacturers for their respective saw hand pieces in India ?
Internationally there is NO RESTRICTION on usage of replacement saw blades. World wide , replacement TKR blades are also available from companies other than original saw manufacturers and replacement blades are being used widely in Europe & USA . With better accessibility of high-Tech machines and technology it is possible to manufacture and replicate instruments with precise measurements . Hence when the practice of replacement blades from other companies is being followed world wide , we do not think why it should not be followed in India alone.
Will the saw hand piece get damaged with usage of DOU TKR blades?

DOU TKR Blades are manufactured to precision and there is no evidence to suggest that DOU TKR blade has damaged the saw components when used as recommended. The usual wear and tear is part of routine practice with any machine component over a period of time and that is why the original saw manufacturers have established facility of service department. The reasons for damage to saw components are listed ahead : 1) Reuse of single use blades where teeth have lost sharpness and exert pressure on saw system 2) Lack of timely servicing and maintenance of saw i.e. lack of preventive maintenance 3) Improper servicing , lubrication and oiling of saw capture 4) Bone dust accumulated and hardened in saw capture 5) Lack of timely servicing of saw system. |
